Description:

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in the healthcare sector, based in WARREN, Ohio, United States. The role involves a range of supply chain tasks, primarily focusing on inventory management. The successful candidate will be expected to efficiently pull and deliver inventory to required areas, maintain accurate product tracking, and perform regular inventory counts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • May be expected to lift up to 20 - 60 pounds with assistance. May be expected to push or pull 30 - 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Work is of medium demand; walking or standing most of the time while on duty.
  • Visual and auditory acuity and manual dexterity essential to performing designated duties required. Optimal auditory acuity required.
  • Manual dexterity involving the handling of equipment and instruments is essential to performing assigned duties.
  • Physical conditions are clean, neat and well lit.
  • May be subjected to unpleasant sights and odors, stressful situations and hazardous or infectious agents where judgment as to precautions needed to be taken is essential. Climate control and ambient temperature variances may be experienced.
  • Exposure to limited amounts of radiation, hazardous chemicals or substances and infectious disease processes are a possibility
  • Hours of duty may be irregular or unexpectedly extended due to the requirements of the supply chain department

Responsibilities:

  • Pulling inventory based on demand and delivering it to the required areas
  • Conducting regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy
  • Tracking product movement and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Utilizing ERP Solutions for efficient inventory management
  • Handling clerical duties related to inventory management, including processing and recording transactions
  • Operating Cerner Technologies and Epic Software for inventory tracking and data recording
  • Utilizing ADP - Financial Services for financial tracking related to inventory
  • Regularly answering inbound calls from various departments regarding inventory needs
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Creating charts and graphs to represent inventory status and trends.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with little to no supervision
  • 3 or more years of previous inventory management experience is preferred
  • Able to provide eligibility for employment for any U.S. employer
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associates Degree preferred
  • Previous experience within a healthcare environment preferred
  • Willing to travel from the various warehouse locations; travel reimbursement available
  • Willing to help team members out in a proactive manner as needed
  • Ability to multitask and move between responsibilities in fluid manner
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
  • Demonstrated excellent skills in verbal and written English communications for effective documentation standards
  • Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own growth and advancements.
