Description:

Robert Half is currently seeking a strategic, results-driven Inventory Specialist for a contract-to-hire role with a vibrant client in Norwalk, CT. As an Inventory Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring production continues to roll seamlessly at our client’s site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, ideally in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of inventory management principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production and customer demand.
  • Partner with procurement and production teams to uphold inventory schedules.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

Stock Movement and Control

  • Coordinate the inbound and outbound shipments of inventory.
  • Manage all stock movements in the warehouse, including picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Implement and uphold inventory control measures.

Inventory Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze inventory data and trends to pinpoint opportunities for optimization.
  • Deliver valuable insights to management for inventory process improvement.
