JOB DESCRIPTION
The Inventory Consultant is the brand ambassador at the local level and is responsible for increasing the showroom inventory by acquiring new and repeat consignment business. This is done by acquiring vehicles through online sources and in person events.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of customer service experience
- 2 years of sales experience
- Classic Car knowledge
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record required
- Basic computer skills required
- CRM experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Acquiring new and repeat consignments via the following methods (minimum requirements of outreach must be met monthly)
- Attending car shows/cruises
- Meeting with car shops
- Attending car club meetings
- Viewing collections
- Making a minimum of 125 outbound calls weekly plus an additional 100+ points of contact such as text and emails
- Confirm and set appointments
- Creating customer rapport starting from the first contact all the way through the consignment process
- Stock in new inventory
- Staying up to date on consignment paperwork and documents
- Managing customer renewals
- Host car club shows and meetings at our location
- Works all Gateway Caffeine and Chrome events and Holiday Party
- Occasionally you may be asked to train new Inventory Consultants or provide back up to other showrooms, some travel may be required
- Backing up other employees and working as a team
