Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Inventory Control Administrator is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key duties include conducting regular inventory counts, relocating SKUs to maintain alphanumeric order using Procede, clearly marking items and bins, and assisting in locating missing parts. The role also involves picking excess orders for return, shelving incoming items according to procedures, and actively participating in the Health and Safety Program. The Inventory Control Administrator upholds 5S standards and cleanliness, contributes to a culture of continuous improvement, participates in team huddles, and performs other assigned duties.
Additionally, in the BC West region, the Inventory Control Administrator conducts cycle counts, manages returns, and compiles scrap lists across multiple locations. Regular daily travel within the region is required to fulfill these responsibilities effectively, as such candidates should be prepared for this unique aspect of their job.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Post secondary education in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or High School Diploma with a minimum 2 years equivalent experience is required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (a drivers abstract satisfactory to the company is required)
- Physical ability to be able to perform tasks that may require climbing ladders, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (with or without assistance) and prolonged standing and/or walking

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains stock inventory and warehouse in a safe, clean, and orderly condition, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Completes warehouse inventory counts at regular intervals
- Relocates SKUs to maintain alpha numeric order with Procede; clearly mark items/bins with part number
- Assists in locating missing parts
- As required, picks excess orders for return
- Assists in shelving incoming items according to established procedures
- Actively participates, contributes, and complies with the Health and Safety Program
- Maintains 5S Standards & Cleanliness
- Participates in and encourages a culture of continuous improvement
- Participates in Team Huddles
- Other duties as assigned
LOCATION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES FOR BC WEST:
- Performs the cycle count process
- Completes the excess returns, warranty returns, and core returns processes
- Complete scrap parts lists
- Coordinates with management on missing warranty parts or unfilled returns
- This role requires regular daily travel to multiple office locations within the region, covering office locations from Victoria to Campbell river
