JOB DESCRIPTION: INVENTORY CONTROL / SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Location: Richland, MS, 39218

JOB SUMMARY

Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC, is one of the largest vacuum truck rental companies in the U.S. with a fleet of more than 800 pieces of equipment and 18 locations nationwide. With a strong emphasis on the customer experience and a 24/7 service guarantee, we are seeking an experienced Inventory Control / Supply Chain Manager to oversee and monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed. The ideal candidate will work with the Corporate Parts Director on developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices, liaising and negotiating with vendors to ensure price and quality of purchases and deliveries are best suited for purpose, and analyzing and reviewing supply to internal/external demand to identify and resolve current and future issues. The Inventory Control / Supply Chain Manager will perform and/or manage regular stock checks and report issues to the CPD, oversee all stock purchases along with transfers and shipments, develop functional KPI’s and processes to improve current methods, and engage in long-range forecasting and planning.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control / Supply Chain Manager or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory control and supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
