Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Control Tower Specialist and play a pivotal role in enhancing our global inventory management tools. Leverage your technical, analytical skills and expertise in data-driven decision making to drive efficiency and standardization across our inventory control processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of our supply chain operations.
You will be part of the Global Inventory, Warehousing & Logistics team, formed by colleagues around the globe. Your primary role is to monitor and report on inventory performance metrics, develop automation and inventory data improvement projects to optimize inventory management processes and visibility.
Your responsibilities
- Track and monitor inventory performance metrics, responsible for weekly inventory report, finished goods not picked up report, etc.
- Develop automation projects (i.e. Macros, VBA, dashboards) to improve the efficiency of the control tower reporting tasks.
- Develop and execute inventory data improvement projects in coordination with Data Engineering BI team & Tactical Inventory Planners to optimize inventory management processes, tools and visibility.
- Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards to visualize inventory data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Overseeing data quality and improvement of our global inventory data repositories, regularly audit data quality and implement improvement plans to address any discrepancies.
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders and IT team by translating business needs into technical requirements and ensuring IT solutions aligns with business objectives.
- Lead initiatives to standardize and improve inventory control processes.
What you bring
- MSc/BSc in Supply Chain, Business Administration, IT or the equivalent knowledge acquired from extensive experience from inventory, supply chain or data analytics field.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel expert user (super user of PivotTables, capability of creating VBA, macros, etc)
Strong analytical skills to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and make data driven decisions. This includes the ability to use data analysis tools and softwares.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining PowerBI dashboards.
- Proven experience in management and/or implementation of inventory management tools/modules.
- Desirable knowledge in Oracle CEN01, Epicor 11 or MD365, (or willing/curious to learn)
- Well-developed communication skills, both interpersonal and organizational
- Anticipates business needs and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity
