Responsibilities:

INVENTORY CONTROLLER JOB DUTIES:

  • Receive incoming deliveries on the floor and in the system
  • Set daily receiving schedule
  • Print Receiving orders
  • Ensure receiving area is cleared for current deliveries
  • Notify purchasing and accounts payable of any damages or incorrect counts
  • Allocate storage space in warehouse for new products
  • Notify purchasing department of any inventory shortages
  • Ensure item locations are correct
  • Ensures warehouse goals are met
  • Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
  • Operates scanners so that the proper order is receivedPerforms other general warehouse duties as needed
