The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for inventory management and distribution of samples to healthcare professionals and sales consultants and the adherence of samples management practices to internal and external policies.
This role is determined to be a flexible worker, where on-site presence in the Toronto office is expected to be 4-12 days per month, as determined by your manager and business needs.
This is a 15 month contract opportunity.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain and/or a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role is required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of samples inventory management concepts and best practices in the pharmaceutical industry
  • High proficiency with SAP Sales and Distribution and Order to Cash Accounts Receivable modules
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Veeva, Access, Tableau
  • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
  • Able to deal with a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Act as SME in samples inventory management and distribution practices; Update processes as internal or external requirements change or as improvements are implemented
  • Ensure timely distribution of samples to healthcare professionals and Lilly sales consultants across Canada
  • Flag 3PL, carrier, and vendor performance issues and assist in issue resolution (CAPA)
  • Work with Supply Chain, Forecasting, Sales, and Marketing i.e. monitor demand, calculate allocations, minimize obsolescence, participate in S&OP, launches, discontinuations, product changes, work through inventory risks, etc
  • Detect, investigate, and resolve samples inventory management issues, including receipts, discrepancies, temperature excursions, and reconciliations; Propose and implement risk mitigations
  • Perform compliance activities such as monitoring samples reconciliations, auditing samples order forms, reviewing and approving inventory adjustments, monitoring returns of expired samples, documenting deviations or compliance misses
  • Detect issues between OneKey, Veeva, and SAP; Work with system experts to resolve issues; Participate in system testing
  • Provide essential support to the field force including training on samples inventory management
  • Coordinate annual audit of samples inventory in the sales force and work with Quality to investigate and resolve issues and propose risk mitigations
  • Look for ways to streamline and implement process improvements
  • Build, update and maintain process and training documentation
  • Process orders, drop-shipments, returns, credit/debit notes and release backorders
  • Understand Order to Cash processes; Monitor and respond to O2C inbox; Serve as back-up to the Order to Cash Analyst
  • Create accounts for sales consultants in SAP, and with STI, GFL and DGN
