REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and/or engineering
- Degree in Engineering / Aerospace or Logistics discipline or other relevant field
- Good analytical skills and process-oriented
- Good commercial and financial awareness and acumen
- Ability to work with external suppliers to extract maximum value from contracts
- Strong in communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
- Drive for excellence
- Adaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements

ROLE INTRODUCTION
Reports to: Components & Powerplants Manager
Departments: ENG - Engineering
The role within Engineering focuses on providing reassurance by maintaining safety for both staff and customers, and ensuring our operations meet leading industry standards. Our engineering team aims to be recognized as one of the world’s top-performing, customer-focused, and innovative engineering groups. The specific role of Inventory Lead – C&P involves managing the availability of compliant aircraft components, including airframe and cabin LRUs, APUs, powerplants, and tooling/GSE. This role is crucial for maintaining agreed service and cost levels, as well as for developing strategies to enhance service quality and reduce long-term costs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide guidance and direction to other members of the team
- Ensure processes within the team are properly documented
- Regularly review ITM or other rotable/repairable program performance with the supplier and initiate improvements
- Assist CX Procurement in defining RFP’s, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts
- Lead the development of budgets and monitor actual cost performance
- Represent Components and Powerplants team in cross-functional project teams
- Monitor operational KPI’s, identify risks and initiate mitigation actions
- Define and lead LEAN and other cross-functional improvement projects
- Deputise for Components and Powerplants Manager as required
