Inventory Management Associate / West / FMCG / 1 Year Contract

OUR CLIENT IS A GOVERNMENT LINK COMPANY IN THE FMCG INDUSTRY. DUE TO BUSINESS NEEDS, THEY ARE NOW RECRUITING A IT BUSINESS ASSOCIATE TO BE PART OF THEIR IT TEAM FOR ONGOING TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Duties:

• Oversee demand planning and ordering to maintain optimal inventory levels in distribution centers and warehouses.
• Collaborate with inventory planners to meet Service Level and Cost KPIs and address operational challenges.
• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, warehouses, and other stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage inventory-related tasks, including handling short shelf life and aging stock, resolving stock issues, processing store allocations, and preparing inventory reports.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain or related disciplines
• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in Inventory Planning and Ordering
