As they continue to expand, they are looking for a dedicated Inventory Officer to join their inventory team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and contribute to their continued success.

  • Forklift license preferred

Responsibilities:

You will report to the Inventory Manager and be responsible for:

  • Keeping the production floor stocked by replenishing raw materials from bulk storage.
  • Setting up and managing inventory bin locations, assigning items to the correct bins, and organizing bins for new parts.
  • Coordinating with subsidiaries to monitor stock availability.
  • Accurately transferring and replenishing raw materials and finished goods as required.
  • Handling inventory transfers, adjustments, and write-offs as needed.
  • Working with subsidiaries to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Conducting stocktakes and cycle counts.
  • Organizing goods systematically within the stock location system for easy storage and retrieval, while ensuring they are physically protected.
  • Maintaining records of warehouse receipts and issuances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assisting with receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming inventory shipments, verifying quantities, quality, and condition against purchase orders or packing slips.
  • Updating inventory databases or spreadsheets to reflect transactions, adjustments, and movements, keeping records accurate and up-to-date.
  • Implementing inventory control methods like FIFO (first-in, first-out) or LIFO (last-in, first-out) to optimize turnover and minimize obsolescence.
  • Performing regular inventory audits, reconciling physical stock counts with records, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Investigating inventory discrepancies, shortages, or surpluses, conducting root cause analysis, and taking corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of inventory, optimizing warehouse organization.
  • Applying best practices, SOPs, and quality standards in inventory management to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed.
