We understand the critical importance of effective and efficient inventory management, and we’re seeking a savvy individual to take the reins and join our future-thinking procurement team.
As our Inventory Optimisation Manager, we will be looking to you to deliver a blend of efficiency, data accuracy, and operation success across our diverse generation sites. We offer a chance to shape Inventory practices of the future, uncovering hidden opportunities of optimisation, cost savings, streamlined operations.
There is flexibility for this role to be based in Rotorua or Hamilton.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine the inventory systems, identify efficiencies, discrepancies, and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise inventory levels, minimise stock delays, and improve carrying costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory demands and ensure seamless logistics.
  • Introduce and track performance metrics, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Serve as a mentor and guide to the Mercury team, share your wisdom and expertise to cultivate a culture of excellence in inventory management.
