Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement inventory plans to ensure appropriate levels for customer operations.
  • Analyze data and make recommendations to achieve profitability, customer service, and optimize inventory program.
  • Collaborate with the Site Leadership team on implementing changes resulting from analysis.
  • Ensure inventory plans are achieved at the customer location to maintain service levels.
  • Ensure monthly reporting and subsequent follow-up using Inventory Management System, COGNOS, PowerBI, Velocity, etc.
  • Mentor site leaders on Best Practices.
  • Identify and develop new planning tools in conjunction with the supply chain team.
  • Analyze and review supplier lead times and evaluate if stocking requests are recommended.
  • Develop and maintain site-specific metrics.
  • Prepare Business Reviews as needed,
  • Schedule and ensure timely completion of annual physical inventory and quarterly cycle counts at customer sites
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Promote personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies, procedures, and system improvements.
  • Develop training materials and train colleagues on inventory management procedures and standard methodologies.
  • Work effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.
  • Deploy Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies in problem solving
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management
