At UnitiWall, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory, Receiving & Shipping Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing plant’s operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing inventory systems, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments are essential for ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

What you’ll be doing

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge with MS Word, Excel, Access applications.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Well organized and resourceful.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and an understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.

Responsibilities:

Inventory control

  • Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory levels of products and supplies.
  • Precisely track and measure raw material scrap generated during daily manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Investigate and promptly resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
  • Prepare detailed inventory reports, including metrics such as inventory accuracy.
  • Provide support and training to manufacturing employees on inventory control procedures and best practices.

Receiving

  • Oversee the receiving process of incoming materials, verifying quantities and inspecting the quality of items received.
  • Ensure all received materials are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received items.
  • Maintain accurate records of all received shipments and update the inventory system accordingly

Shipping

  • Ensure all outgoing shipments of finished product are accurately documented and properly labeled.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule and track shipments.
