JOB SUMMARY:

The Inventory Solutions Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the discovery, assessment, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of new and existing inventory solutions programs for qualified customers. This role involves a comprehensive approach to the program lifecycle, leading assigned team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while working towards achieving department goals and objectives and providing world-class service and support.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in distribution or related business.
  • supervisory or managerial experience in any field
  • Knowledge of industry products and programs.
  • Leadership experience.
    Travel: Willing to do intermittent travel by air and ground. A valid driver’s license is required, and an insurable record is a must.

Intermittent travel will be required for this position, both by air and vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Inventory Solutions Team with program discovery, assessment, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement for new and existing inventory solutions programs by coordinating and performing activities essential to the program lifecycle (travel necessary)
  • Professional communication with all program stakeholders and an advanced understanding of the communication changes needed to properly relay information differently to customers, suppliers, and coworkers in various manners.
  • Coordinating and performing facility assessments for qualified customers.
  • Coordinating and performing activities necessary for program development for qualified customers.
  • Proactive coordination with program stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of activities essential to the program lifecycle.
  • Coordinating and performing installations and implementations for qualified customers
  • Review, analysis, and maintenance of documentation and reporting essential to the program lifecycle, including review and revamp of reporting to provide customer-facing, actionable information.
  • Coordinating and performing activities necessary for program maintenance and continuous improvement for qualified customers
  • Work with various Nelson-Jameson team members to leverage documentation and reporting to uncover, suggest, and track program opportunities, including but not limited to cost savings, efficiencies, etc.
  • Regularly assist with program duties, coverage changes, updates, and improvements, including proactively scheduling and managing assigned staff to minimize disruptions.
  • Demonstration of knowledge of business offerings, products, processes, and standards that not only achieve the customer’s goals but also keep Nelson-Jameson’s profitability in mind.
  • Ability to critically analyze current processes with the objective of offering suggestions and changes that would create tangible time savings and efficiency opportunities. Thrives on improving current/past practices and is willing to generate new suggestions, test suggestions, and be a part of implementation.
  • Proactivity, effective time management, detail-orientation, and the ability to make sound business suggestions supported with business cases are required for this position.
  • Guide and direct assigned staff to achieve departmental goals, aligned with the company’s overall strategic objectives. Set clear expectations, monitor progress, and provide support to ensure employees achieve their individual goals. Actively identify and address any obstacles or resource needs to facilitate success.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations while achieving productivity goals.
  • Foster a positive work environment, encouraging collaboration and commitment among team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
