JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for organizing and maintaining Novak Center Lower Level Store Room, Mail Room, and all Break Rooms, maintaining par levels for shared items, placing replenishment orders for shared items, receiving deliveries, controlling and monitoring via RTLS supplier access to building, and providing optimal service for all internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor usage of shared items to determine and adjust par levels in Novak Center Lower Level Store Room and in all Novak Center Break Rooms
  • Place weekly orders to replenish shared items, and work with suppliers to resolve all supply, delivery, and invoice issues for these orders
  • Process receipts, and ensure proper routing of materials, as well as proper routing of delivery personnel using RTLS tracking to enhance the safety of patients and their families
  • Daily maintenance and restocking of shelves
  • Daily movement of packages and mail to appropriate mail receptacles
  • Notify appropriate practice manager upon receipt of overnight packages, certified mail, and other non-standard receipts
  • Monitor and rotate inventory to ensure first-in-first-out usage, and monitor all items with expiration dates to minimize potential for expired inventory
  • Notify Supervisor of outdated or slow moving inventory
  • Maintain clean and orderly appearance and operations in Lower Level Storeroom and Mailroom
  • Maintain accurate and up to date list of shared items, with par levels and usage history, on Excel spreadsheet and on designated supplier websites
  • Deliver extremely bulky or heavy items to other floors as needed; and when available support delivery of supplies to other floors
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor when assisting internal and external customers in person, via email, and by phone
  • Maintain focus on minimizing impact of supply chain processes on patients and their families
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, mobility to utilize carts and hand trucks to maneuver materials and equipment from one location to another, regular lifting and carrying items weighing 50 lbs or less
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Education & Training: High School diploma or GED required
Experience: Experience in warehousing or inventory control activities. Ability to process and present data clearly. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2016 Excel spreadsheets and Outlook email (or comparable systems). Strong written, verbal and telephone skills. Experience making purchases via purchasing websites.
License & Certification: Non
