We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Investments Operations department within the cash team. As a leading financial services organization, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction. Our dynamic team is dedicated to delivering top-notch investment administration services, and we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us.
The Investment Administration Officer - Cash will play a pivotal role in our Investments Operations department. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including cash and asset reconciliations, all asset class settlements, suspense allocations, member contribution files, transaction processing, reviewing and processing international tax forms, and term deposit processing.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
- Minimum 2-3 years Financial Services experience
- Knowledge of Australian securities, Managed Funds, and an understanding of the risks inherent in settlement activities
- Understanding of various financial products/instruments available in the domestic market
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on the commercial priorities of the business
- Desire and willingness to strive to achieve optimal results whilst working well under pressure
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconciliations& settlements– reconciling and settling cash received into custody
- Suspense Allocations– unallocated funds and suspense follow ups for EFT and Superstream deposits
- Return of funds – returning unallocated cash to remitter
- Member Contribution File – collating contribution data and sending to Super Admin
- Bulk transaction processing– daily processing of deposits and withdrawals files
- Retail Insurance – monthly import of retail cover and debit of premiums
- Term Deposit Processing – Placement of bulk orders for investment
