ABOUT THE ROLE

Investment and allocation at Uber is constantly evolving to solve some of the most challenging and exciting marketplace problems in the world. With focus on delivering the best experience to Uber’s drivers and rider everyday. Investments, pricing and incentives are at the core of what defines and improves their experience in our platform.
As an Investment Manager for the Central Operations team, you will be responsible for designing and executing the allocation strategy across LATAM, managing large investments, and supervising the rides business performance in the region. This role requires strong intuition for business, as well as analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Implement and manage marketplace investment strategies in LATAM countries. Drive data analyses to find opportunities to improve growth, profitability and experience. Build and supervise key metrics to ensure business performance and investment efficiency. Build and maintain close relationships with local and global partners, assertively communicating and presenting ideas, findings, and insights to assist and guide the decision-making process. Collaborate with multiple local and global teams, including marketing, finance, legal, policy, and operations, to ensure alignment with global business objectives.
