Responsibilities:

AS INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Supporting (and leading parts of) M&A execution and financing processes including financial modelling, valuation, structuring, and negotiation of transactions
  • Creating and owning deal-related financial models as well as handling valuation exercises related to the existing portfolio
  • Participating in, and leading (parts of) due diligence workstreams in live transactions
  • Support in reviewing and structuring transaction documents
  • Assessing incoming investment opportunities
  • Conducting comprehensive market and sector-specific analyses, in the context of transactions or general strategic reviews
  • Getting involved in related projects such as strategic corporate finance initiatives as well as portfolio hedging
  • Optimizing and documenting processes within transactions and the Investment Team
  • Leading own initiatives end-to-end, i.e. to optimize investment processes

FOR THIS ROLE, IDEALLY, YOU BRING:

  • An impeccable academic track record
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in the area of renewables investments, investment banking, private equity, or project finance
  • Passion for investing, financial modelling and renewable energy
  • Strong financial modelling skills and in-depth knowledge of valuation concepts
  • Strong analytical and technical skills combined with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • An entrepreneurial and performance-driven mindset and a team player mentality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • German, Polish, Italian or Spanish are considered as a plus
