INVESTMENT BANKING ANALYST - LEVERAGED FINANCE, HELSINKI OFFICE

Within Leveraged Finance, we specifically serve Danske Bank’s Private Equity clients through the origination, structuring, and execution of leveraged buyout financings, refinancings, recapitalizations, and fund financings. Our Pan-Nordic team consists of c. 25 professionals working closely with our London-based Syndications desk and other relevant units within the investment banking division to ensure strong coverage of Nordic, European, and international financial sponsors. As a leading Underwriter and Mandated Lead Arranger of Nordic syndicated Loans, we consistently place among the most active banks in terms of transaction volume in Bloomberg league tables, ahead of several international investment banks and regional commercial banks. Building on this momentum, we are seeking an Analyst to join our fast-paced, deal-centric environment and to actively participate in live transactions while building strong credit analysis experience.

As our new analyst, your role responsibilities will be:

  • Participating in the origination and execution of new transactions
  • Financial modelling to assess debt capacity and capital structure alternatives across loans and high yield bonds
  • Evaluating information memoranda and commercial / financial due diligence reports
  • Preparation of internal and external presentations
  • Portfolio management activities related to our Private Equity coverage

Responsibilities:
