Description:

At Piper Sandler, we connect capital with opportunity to build a better future.
Piper Sandler is a leading investment bank serving clients globally. Proven advisory teams combine deep product and sector experience with ready access to global capital. Founded in 1895, the firm is headquartered in Minneapolis with offices across the United States and in London, Aberdeen, and Hong Kong.
Piper Sandler’s Energy & Power investment banking division is broadly regarded as the leading advisor to the industry, having operated as an advisory team for over 45 years and completed more than 1,000 transactions.
The team has a large presence in Houston, New York, Aberdeen (Scotland), and London, with over 75 professionals dedicated to the Energy industry, providing a significant depth of sector expertise across the energy value chain.
Our European offices specialise in Energy Equipment, Services, Technology and Software transactions across a broad range of Renewable and Conventional Energy end-markets, with very limited focus on Upstream or Infrastructure. Our team was an early entrant in the renewables sector, and we continue to play a very active role in the Energy Transition, with ongoing mandates across Offshore Wind, Biofuels, Battery Technology, Hydrogen and Carbon Capture, whilst maintaining our market leadership position within Oilfield Equipment & Services.
We are currently looking for an intern to join our growing Energy & Power team in London. This is a six-month internship to start in October 2024 or earlier. We will consider candidates who have either (1) graduated in Summer 2024 or (2) graduated in 2023 and have since completed an off-cycle internship in investment banking or private equity.
