JOB DESCRIPTION

The J.P. Morgan MENA Coverage team is responsible for the origination and execution of public and private M&A, equity and debt transactions across sectors involving corporate and financial sponsor clients based across the MENA region. We maintain leading relationships with some of the most prominent clients across the region and aid them in delivering on their corporate strategy and structure.

JOB SUMMARY

As an Investment Banking experienced Vice President, you will assist in the origination and execution of public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across all industry sectors, equity and debt capital markets advisory on various types of capital and debt raising transactions such as listings, rights issues, acquisition & leveraged finance across MENA together with other bankers from the team, as well as colleagues from industry, country and other product teams in other regions/countries. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Relevant full-time Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience
  • Proven financial modelling / valuation skills/ analytical skills, with high level of attention to detail
  • Knowledge about the transaction cycle of relevant investment banking products
  • Demonstrate commitment to a strong teamwork environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Being adaptable, flexible and resilient; ability to work self-directed and independently and to multitask on numerous assignments
  • Proficiency in MS office applications and relevant knowledge of customary investment banking databases (FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution, marketing and coverage work across industries
  • Research and analyse market data and companies
  • Support preparation of client presentations
  • Perform valuation analyses (e.g. based on multiples, DCF, LBO, etc.)
  • Build detailed and complex financial models
  • Execute transactions from pitch to close (e.g. public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across all industry sectors, equity capital markets advisory on various types of capital raising transactions such as listings and rights issues across MENA, etc.)
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Analysts
