The team works with a broad range of clients, including corporations, institutions and governments, to provide comprehensive strategic advice, capital raising and risk management expertise. As an M&A Analyst / Associate within our dynamic MENA M&A team, you will play a crucial role in the origination and execution of public and private mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across all industry sectors. Collaborating with other team members and colleagues from various industry, country, and product teams in other regions/countries, you will gain hands-on experience, continuous mentoring, feedback, and numerous opportunities for professional development.
We are looking for Analyst / Associate across different levels.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Relevant full-time Investment Banking, M&A or Corporate Finance experience
  • Proven financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
  • High level of attention to detail across deliverables
  • Knowledge about the transaction cycle of M&A assignments
  • Demonstrate commitment to a strong teamwork environment
  • Being adaptable, flexible and resilient; ability to work self-directed and independently and to multitask on numerous assignments
  • Proficiency in MS office applications and relevant knowledge of customary investment banking databases (FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • MENA experience and Arabic language skills

Responsibilities:

  • Support execution, marketing and coverage work across industries
  • Conduct research and analyse market data and companies
  • Support preparation of client presentations
  • Perform valuation analyses (e.g. based on multiples, DCF, LBO, etc.)
  • Build detailed and complex financial models
  • Execute transactions from pitch to close (e.g. public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across all industry sectors)
  • Partner with equity, debt and markets groups covering the region
  • Manage marketing materials and league tables
  • Oversee M&A database covering regulatory requirements from different jurisdictions as well as market trends and themes
