Responsibilities:
Actively manage the Shari’a Audit Team by determining the work assignments, ensure team is accountable to its work, and act to remove barriers for the team.
Ensure through regular, independent examination of activities that the Shari’a auditable entities (under coverage) are in compliance with Shari’a rules of Higher Sharia Authority
Ensure through regular, independent examination of activities that the Shari’a auditable entities (under coverage) are in compliance with Shari’a rules of Internal Shari’a Supervisory Board.
Review upon request the transactional and financing documents, marketing materials and Facility Offer Letters in order to ensure that they are in compliance with Shari’a.
Skills:
Bachelors Degree with specialization in Finance, Accounting, Bachelor in Shari’a or Shari’a and law,
Bachelor in Islamic & legal studies or Bachelor in Islamic Banking.
Review and audit various modes of Islamic Banking products especially Sukuk
and the Syndicated transactions.
Excellent Command in MS Word & Excel
