JOB DESCRIPTION
J.P. Morgan’s Equity Capital Markets Group provides advice on and access to the equity capital markets for clients based across the EMEA region, underwriting and managing transactions for those clients, which include many of the world’s leading firms in their respective industries.
As a Vice President within the CEEMEA Equity Capital Markets Group, you will demonstrate good business acumen and proven track record in developing clients and marketing total business solutions with a focus on the CEEMEA region.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Relevant Equity Capital Markets experience
- Ability to effectively interact with sales and trading people , as well as corporate clients and other banks as part of working groups on projects
- Ability to work within a team, in a fast moving, results-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and to take initiatives
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS
- CEEMEA region or coverage experience is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Acting the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead product banker on execution of ECM deals
- Leading the preparation of high-impact marketing materials used in origination of new mandates
- Participate in idea generation in terms of transaction structures and processes for transactions/clients
- Reviewing and coordinating the analytic work of junior bankers and experience in training junior bankers
- Refining marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact
- Identifying and managing all risks in a given deal
- Liaising with other internal and external parties on transactions (eg. industry teams, lawyers, consultants, etc)
- Leading negotiations with investors and advising clients on optimal outcomes
