Description:
DESCRIPTION
As an investment consulting analyst, you will work with our Canadian Investment practice to provide support on a range of investment services to Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans and other institutional entities. Support will be required on a range of investment-related matters, including performance measurement and evaluation, investment manager monitoring, strategic asset allocation, investment management structures, manager selection, statements of investment policy, and global research services.
This role is hybrid with regular attendance to the office (typically up to 2-3 days but may be more depending on business needs).
Relocation is not offered for this position.

THE REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree with 0 to 3 years of experience
- Interest in or progress towards the CFA is desirable
- Interest in and knowledge of investments and financial markets
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable in a team environment and working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills
- Effective organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and projects
- Attention to detail and able to deliver accurate and high-quality work
- Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Responsibilities:
- Produce quarterly investment performance reports by preparing written commentary and analysis for delivery to clients by required deadlines
- Liaise with investment managers and other providers to collect information and conduct analysis and research as necessary to produce reports
- Prepare written and analytic material that provide recommendations and actions for a variety of services and deliverables
- Support consultants and other team members to effectively deliver services to clients
- Attend client meetings or manager meetings led by consultants
- Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
