Description:
The Investment Copy Analyst position is a corporate-level non-exempt position reporting to the Senior Manager in the firm’s Property Marketing department. Property Marketing’s platform provides production and financial analysis support by way of Central Support (CS) and Major Account Services (MAS) to an increasing number of agents across the firm.
Under oversight of the Senior Market Research Analyst, this role will produce asset-specific copywriting and submarket research for publication in offering memorandums and proposals. The Investment Copy Analyst is responsible for working with our internal clients (agents) to craft investment highlights, investment overviews and applicable tenant or submarket related copy requisite to the project.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in office / 2 days remote) based out of our Austin, TX office. However, other candidates will be considered who are local to another Marcus & Millichap office throughout the country.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s in Real Estate, Economic, Finance, Business Administration, English, or related programs
- 1-2 years of experience in commercial real estate
- Exceptional copywriting and comprehension skills
- Strong internet research skills
- Experience with Generative AI
- Positive and client-focused demeanor
- Ability to translate data and information into clear, precise, and professional reporting
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and complete projects on time with accuracy
- Excellent business vocabulary and grammar
- An acute attention to detail
- Ability to work successfully within a high production volume environment
- Knowledge of CoStar a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel a plus

Responsibilities:
- Work to produce investment highlights and overview based on guidance from agent
- Perform submarket location research to identify local economic drivers, demographic trends, and recent and/or future developments
- Write local market overviews pertaining to specific property categories and trends within those property categories
- Leverage AI tools to maximize speed to delivery
- Work with an internal department of analysts, designers, and coordinators to produce final client-ready deliverables
- Create graphs of market trends for presentation
