You will be a member of the Investment Management team where you will be providing support to the Investment Planning Process as well as various other financial, business process and reporting tasks.
The Investment Management Department (IM) is the central coordinating arm of the Investment Planning Process and the Investment Approvals Process. It is also accountable for aspects of the SAP Investment Management module, and this includes providing guidance to planners on the use of SAP Appropriation Requests (AR’s), analyzing the progress of investment releases on an ongoing basis and Financial Reporting for the Planning organization.

Your job duties may include:

  • Support the senior staff with effective planning, management, monitoring and execution of the investment plan as well as the Investment Planning Process (IPP)
  • Support the business approval processes (e.g. business cases and work release) associated with implementation of projects.
  • Support in-year investment re-direction and other adhoc investment management projects and analyses as required.
  • Prepare investment management and other reports and presentations as required in support of the department, the division and business unit.
  • Support the division and the business unit regarding investment management processes, implementation and training.
  • Provide support in maintaining the Copperleaf C55 Investment Planning software and related software project upgrades.

Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum completion of 2 years Bachelor in Business, Engineering or Finance.
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of SAP and SharePoint is considered an asset.
  • The ability to work in a busy environment with competing and changing priorities. Requiring planning, organizing, scheduling, assigning, and monitoring the quality and quantity of work.
