THE JOB IN A NUTSHELL

We are seeking an experienced Investment Manager with 7+ years of experience in the tech sector. The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end investment process, from deal sourcing to closing, with a primary focus on M&A activity. The role requires strategic thinking, deep financial expertise, and the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders. You will drive the execution of our M&A strategy, ensuring that deals are aligned with the company’s long-term growth objectives.

What You will Do ❓

  • Deal Sourcing & Market Research:
  • Lead market research efforts to identify high-potential tech companies aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the tech ecosystem (startups, VCs, advisors) to source acquisition opportunities.
  • Target Evaluation & Strategic Fit:
  • Conduct in-depth evaluation of potential acquisition targets, assessing business models, market positioning, and strategic alignment.
  • Lead initial pitch presentations to senior management, providing a thorough analysis of potential targets’ strategic and financial value.
  • Due Diligence Management:
  • Lead and coordinate the due diligence process across financial, legal, operational, and technological areas.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to identify potential risks and opportunities in acquisition targets.
  • Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Valuation & Financial Analysis:
  • Lead the development of complex financial models to evaluate acquisition targets, focusing on ROI, synergies, and growth potential.
  • Perform comprehensive valuation assessments using various methodologies (DCF, comparable, etc.) and sensitivity analyses.
  • Deal Structuring & Negotiation:
  • Oversee the preparation of term sheets, including deal structure, pricing, and key terms.
  • Lead negotiations with target companies, ensuring favorable deal terms and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management & Approvals:
  • Engage with senior management, legal teams, and board members throughout the deal process.
  • Prepare and present final recommendations for deal approval to senior management or the board.
  • Post-Acquisition Integration Planning:
  • Develop and oversee post-acquisition integration plans, focusing on operational, cultural, and strategic alignment.
  • Monitor the performance of acquisitions, ensuring synergies and financial targets are met.
  • Reporting & Strategy Execution:
  • Provide ongoing reporting to senior management on the performance of acquired companies.
  • Execute on the company’s M&A strategy, continuously refining and improving the investment process.
