  • Owning and developing investment policies, procedures, and standards
  • Interacting with the Technology team to help drive improvements in investment processes and enhancing Management Information (MI)
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on UK capital markets and investments, informing judgements in modelling the risk profile of the portfolio

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years of portfolio management experience within a UK bank
  • Excellent commercial and strategic acumen to optimise portfolio deployment
  • A solid understanding of UK banking regulations in relation to investment instruments, such as securitisation regulations, capital/RWA requirements, etc.
  • Experience managing portfolios across GBP, EUR, USD, and associated FX
  • An understanding of a wide range of credit instruments, such as RMBS/ABS, CLOs, reverse repo, covered bonds, government and sub-sovereign debt, SSA, etc.
