EDUCATION

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering from a top school

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, a global industrial company, or M&A departments
  • M&A or finance experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

Investment Manager (IM) at Nordic Capital, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team that works closely on transactions from inception to close. You will work alongside a Director and Partner, handling due diligence, market analysis, financial and legal assessments, and deal negotiations. This role requires strong leadership, with IA/IMs often managing external advisors and reporting to the Partner group. Senior Investment Managers may represent Nordic Capital on company boards, and travel across Nordic regions, Europe, and the US (Healthcare) is common.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct detailed due diligence, analyzing markets, financials, legal, insurance, and environmental factors
  • Negotiate deal terms with banks and sellers
  • Lead and coordinate external advisors
  • Provide regular reporting to senior partners
  • Represent Nordic Capital on company boards
