Title: Investment Officer (Vice President)
Location: Lagos
Salary: 6m – 7m per month

A leading Fund Manager dedicated to delivering exceptional value through strategic investments in private equity is looking to hire an Investment (VP). Their team is committed to identifying and capitalizing on high-potential opportunities that drive growth and generate strong returns for their investors. Key Responsibilities:
· Leadership in Investment Process: You will provide strategic leadership across all stages of the investment process, including deal origination, structuring, due diligence, risk analysis, and portfolio management.
· Deal Origination & Structuring: You will lead the identification, evaluation, and structuring of investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives and investment criteria.
· Due Diligence & Risk Assessment: You will implement rigorous due diligence processes and risk assessment frameworks to ensure the viability of investments and minimize potential downside risks.
· Investment Committee Preparation: You will work collaboratively with senior team members to prepare investment opportunities for presentation to the Investment Committee, providing comprehensive analysis and recommendations.
· Stakeholder Liaison: You will effectively liaise with key stakeholders, including investors, portfolio companies, and external partners, to ensure the successful execution of investment strategies and objectives.
· Portfolio Management & Exits: You will oversee the management of portfolio investments, including monitoring performance, driving value creation, and managing exit strategies to maximize returns.
· Team Leadership: You will provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the investment team.
Requirements:
· Solid track record in deal origination, structuring, due diligence, risk analysis, portfolio management, and exits.
· Demonstrated experience in raising and managing multi-million-dollar private equity funds.
· At least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 4 years at a reputable private equity firm with a proven track record of successful investments.
· Preferred graduate degree in business or finance.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to comprehensively discuss and evaluate previous deals.
· Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, and the ability to make informed investment decisions.
· Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with a collaborative and initiative-driven approach.
