As an Investment Middle Office Services (IMOS) Corporate Action Associate in the Middle Office Services Team, you will be responsible for managing the capture, analysis, and validation of corporate action event data received from the J.P. Morgan agent network and other information sources. This event data is used to update core systems to operationally manage the corporate action and to create cleansed notifications to be distributed to the underlying J.P. Morgan client base and other lines of business. Your key duty will be to deliver accurate and timely information to our clients, partners, and supported businesses.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Experience in working with and assisting in the running of an operations team
  • Demonstrated leadership experience across process, risk and control within Investment Operations, including managing change
  • Demonstrate experience of multi-tasking and effective time management with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong partnership skills with experience of working with several different stakeholders to deliver a high quality service offering
  • Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good understanding of the control infrastructure within Fund Services Accounting
  • Experience in a Corporate Actions, Fund Accounting or Investment Accounting environment

Responsibilities:

  • Processes of Corporate Actions covering the full lifecycle from Announcement Capture to Payments in a accurate and timely manner
  • Is a primary point of contact for all corporate action activity across our EMEA client base, working as a trusted client partner and advocate, ensuring strong strategic alignment and open communication with internal & External stakeholders
  • Provides support, guidance and training to other team members when required
  • Identifies opportunities for process efficiency
  • Exhibits effective communication with key stakeholders
  • Adheres to firm and departmental procedures and controls
  • Maintains timely resolution of Cash and Stock exceptions
  • Monitors and resolves daily control checks
  • Provides support to internal teams including Risk Management and Client Facing teams across regions
  • Participates during User Acceptance testing phases for any system migrations
  • Assists with team and departmental projects
  • Understands the control environment and ensuring daily checks are completed
