Description:
An Asia based fund management company founded in 2000 with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, and London that invests in pan-Asia long only equities is looking to hire an Investment Analyst. The position will be based in the Singapore office.
The investment strategy is a fundamentals-driven, “private equity” approach to APAC public markets. The firm today has approximately US$2.8 billion in AUM managed on behalf of institutional clients primarily from the US and Europe.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from a top tier school
- Minimum 4 years of experience in India with leading firms in private equity, public equity, investment banking, or management consulting; prior private equity experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Liaison with India and South-east Asia listed and private companies. Proficiency in Hindi and English is a must.
- Strong academic credentials, analytical, and financial modeling skills
- Smart, driven, creative, and hard-working individual with a passion for learning about investing
Role:
- Primarily focused on India, but will work on investment opportunities throughout Asia
- Evaluate listed and private companies for potential investment opportunities
- Conduct industry and company due diligence using primary and secondary research tools
- Analyze and evaluate business models and financial statements
- Frequent travel to India and the region for on-the-ground company visits and research
- Specific activities will be determined based on the investment team’s need and the individual’s skillset
