DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Conducting portfolio reviews for clients and preparing relevant investment recommendations with consideration of the US and Asian financial market regulations. Working toward the client’s long term investment and liquidity needs and other financial risk/obligation; Overseeing cross-border business relationships with Asian clients and providing them with asset allocation and investment advice across equity, fixed income, managed solutions (asset management funds), derivatives and alternatives. Handling client trades with real-time execution across U.S., Asian and European markets with an understanding of the trading/settlement requirement in Asian and U.S. markets. Researching financial markets using both proprietary and external financial analysis tools (Bloomberg, FactSet) and analyzing the clients’ portfolios, including their investment objectives and constraints, developing the investment policy statements and asset allocation framework, and updating them on market developments that are relevant to their situation. Managing sales process and enhancing client experiences by coordinating sales effort with Lending Advisors, Trust Officers and Wealth Advisors to provide a comprehensive cross-border wealth management solution. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance, Mathematical Economics, Economics and Financial Math, Business Administration, Finance, Capital Markets, Mathematics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Specialist, Market Analyst, Business Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: financial and investment advice across various asset classes to Asian clients; complex financial products; managing Asian client relationships, with consideration of Asian business culture; managing asset allocation strategies and risk management for clients, including portfolio construction and rebalancing based on client’s goals; multi-asset class, including equities, fixed income, managed investment products, derivatives, hedge funds, private equity and other alternative investments; global macroeconomics and financial market dynamics in both developed markets and emerging markets; Goals based planning using Monte Carlo Simulation and Long Term Capital Market Assumptions; Asset or Wealth Management; Bloomberg, FactSet, and Microsoft Suite; and financial data analysis and portfolio analytics.
Job Location: 560 Mission St., San Francisco, CA 94105. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $155,000 - $160,000 per year.
