About the Team:
AGF’s Marketing & Innovation team is responsible for delivering timely and effective marketing, communications, digital and product initiatives and programs that support respective business priorities, partners and ultimately AGF’s clients. The team builds and maintains trusted partner relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders to achieve a collaborative mindset and united approach to client engagement.

About the Role:
This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow your career in the investment management industry while contributing to strategic priorities of the team and the Marketing and Innovation department.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investments Marketing & Product Management, the coordinator will support general marketing and content projects including initiatives supporting the positioning of AGF’s product line-up including mutual funds, ETFS, separately managed accounts and private markets strategies across multiple distribution channels (retail, national accounts, institutional) and multiple jurisdictions.
Key strengths that are essential for success in this role include strong organizational skills, project management skills and a strong attention to detail/accuracy.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams across the Marketing & Innovation department with the responsibility of supporting ongoing projects and the maintenance and creation of quarterly deliverables (sales tools, brochures, presentations, web content etc.).
  • Contribute to various research initiatives related to competitive intelligence and other investment industry subjects.
  • Contribute to the creation and distribution of educational content and training material on AGF’s investment strategies to institutional and retail distribution partners.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional business partners across investment management, sales, marketing, operations, legal, compliance and other teams, to deliver against the broader organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Assist in updating materials related to product changes working with key stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Financial services industry and product knowledge, or a strong interest in learning about these, is preferred.
  • Some knowledge and experience with investment research platforms, digital marketing tools, content management systems, SEO, and related software is preferred.
  • A passion for marketing, with a keen interest in investment management and finance.
  • Able to understand and effectively communicate/present complex data.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously; a strong attention to detail is key.
  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources to achieve project goals.
  • Tech-savvy, willingness to learn digital marketing and investment research tools and platforms.
  • Willingness to learn the business of investment management and compliance/regulatory requirements.
  • Self-motivated with an enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.
  • Fully adept in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • IFIC and/or CSC an asset but not required.
