JOB TITLE: Investments Subsidiary Control & Reporting Assistant Manager (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)
Salary: £42,120 - £46,800
HOURS: Full time
LOCATION(S): Edinburgh Princess Exchange
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our Princess Exchange office
About this opportunity
We have an opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join our Investments Subsidiary Control & Reporting team at our Princess Exchange office in Edinburgh.
As a part or fully qualified accountant you will join to support the delivery of internal and external reporting requirements for our Citra division. This role requires interpretation of complex processes and management of the efficient and effective production of high-quality output and analysis, anticipating stakeholder needs.
Day to day you’ll be:
- Identifying shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, then using established change management programmes to deliver prescribed outcomes and/or provide support services.
- Performing complex data processing using established procedures and testing new procedures to see if they might represent improvements over existing methods.
- Tracking budgets, highlighting variances to the attention of senior colleagues while working within established budgeting systems.
- Working independently to collate and analyse data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats.
- Organising and preparing complex documents by using multiple computer applications (such as Microsoft Office), while also gathering and summarising data for special reports.
- Tracking progress and reports variances to more senior colleagues while working within established finance systems.

What you’ll need
- You’ll be a Part Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant.
- Experience of either financial control, statutory or regulatory reporting.
- Experience of working within a fast paced environment.
And any experience of these would be really useful
- Experience of Financial Reporting within Residential Property market.
