KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in developing investor services platforms, fund administration systems, or similar products and familiarity with investor-related technologies (e.g., CRM systems, investor portals, data analytics tools);
  • Proven ability to translate client needs and business goals into technical solutions;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Experience with transformation/change management, global process and control framework implementation and system migrations;
  • Knowledge of financial products, investment vehicles, and understanding of key regulatory frameworks and how they impact investor onboarding;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and to manage and prioritise their workload;
  • Diligence and care in all aspects of the job, in particular with regard to client data and the maintenance of KYC files and records;
  • Problem solving - being able to review the situation and determine an alternative course of action to achieve the desired goal;
  • Strong client focus with the ability to develop and maintain important client relationships.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are looking for a knowledgeable and driven Product Owner with a background in Investor Services and particularly investor onboarding to join our team. As the Product Owner, you will manage the development and enhancement of products designed to meet the unique needs of our clients and their investors. You will serve as the key point of contact between business teams, the technical teams, and our solution partners ensuring that our services continue to provide outstanding value and efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of the investor services landscape, excellent communication, and a passion for building solutions that drive business growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Product Development and technology to ensure a forward-looking technology and service development roadmaps aligned to group strategy and future client needs;
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria that the development team and our partners can execute;
  • Work closely with development teams, compliance, and operations to deliver new features and improvements that enhance investor experience and streamline service processes;
  • Ensure new products and features are deployed effectively across the business and efficiencies are realised;
  • Stay informed on industry trends, investor expectations, and regulatory changes to continuously adapt and refine the product;
  • Analyse feedback from clients, investors, and market trends to prioritize product enhancements;
  • Monitor key product performance metrics, investor satisfaction, and operational efficiency post-launch to drive iterative improvements;
  • Actively contribute to answering to RFP’s and commercial propositions;
  • Drive internal communication with other functional pillars (Fund Accounting, Admin/CoSec, Management);
  • To mentor and support the training of more junior members of staff;
