Description:

Clairvest is a highly reputable mid-market Private Equity firm with >$4Bn of assets and ~50 employees. We are looking to hire an Investor Relations Analyst to join our team and support our investor relations, communications, and marketing efforts. This individual would report directly to the Director of Investor Relations and Marketing.
Overview:
The Investor Relations Analyst will work with the Director of Investor Relations and Marketing and support in analytics, marketing materials and overall relationships with stakeholders of the firm (inclusive of investors - limited partners (“LPs”), lenders and shareholders). The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of private equity, strong analytical skills, and exceptional communication abilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about the private equity market, gain exposure to diverse industries, and contribute directly to the overall success of Clairvest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Investor Communications – cocreate and maintain communication materials for LPs:
  • Assist with producing pitchbooks for prospective LPs
  • Assist with existing LP communications (i.e. quarterly reports, reporting dashboards capital calls, distribution notices,)
  • Preparation of Clairvest’s Limited Partner Annual General Meeting
  • Collaborate with the Investment team to provide portfolio company updates to LPs
  • Assist with different operational aspects during fundraising of private equity funds (LP diligence requests and questionnaires)
  • Assist in managing relationships with existing and prospective LPs, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement through accurate & timely reporting
  • Data analysis – in relation to support above, conduct analysis of portfolio performance (with investment team), understand market trends, and competitive landscape to support investor presentations and enquiries
  • Support with external marketing and branding
  • Assist with Clairvest branding initiatives (Website, LinkedIn, Mailchimp campaigns) & producing marketing collateral to assist with deal marketing
  • Reporting and systems
  • Maintain the Company’s Limited Partner portal
  • Maintain the track record & company profile on relevant industry databases (i.e. Preqin, Pitchbook)
  • Assist with special projects and/or events

Qualifications:

  • Business or Accounting degree preferred, CPA or CFA an asset
  • 1+ years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis or a relevant role within the finance industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Teamoriented; demonstrates a commitment to shared success
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel; experience with programs like PowerBI and Canva are a plus
