A recognised, leading investment holding company in the GCC are looking to hire an Investor Relations Associate to support the Head of Investor Relations across a number of investment entities across the Group.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Investor Communications o Prepare and distribute regular investor reports, updates, and fund performance summaries. o Develop presentations, newsletters, and other materials to effectively communicate the fund’s activities and achievements. 2. Fundraising Support: o Support the Head of IR, including preparing pitch decks, data rooms, and marketing materials. o Build and maintain a database of prospective investors, including institutions, family offices, and HNWIs. o Organise and co-ordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and events. 3. Stakeholder Engagement: o Alongside the Head of IR; address investor queries promptly and professionally, providing insights into portfolio performance and market opportunities. o Build strong relationships with existing investors to foster trust and encourage reinvestment. 4. Reporting and Analysis: o Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyse data on fund performance, market trends, and portfolio companies. o Ensure accurate and timely reporting to meet investor expectations and regulatory requirements. 5. Compliance and Documentation: o Ensure all communication and documentation comply with legal and regulatory standards. o Maintain organised records of investor interactions and correspondence. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred). • 5-7+ years of experience in investor relations, private equity, asset management, or investment banking. • Strong understanding of private equity, credit, and real estate investment structures. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. • Proficiency in financial modelling, PowerPoint, and CRM tools. • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
