Your role
The Investor Relations function at Saab has seen a tremendous shift in its relevance and role with increased investor engagement and a surge in number of shareholders. As Saab embarks on its growth journey, stakeholders’ increased interest and expectations of more insights of the business, the IRM role will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing the level of service and engagement towards investors, shareholders and the financial community.
As Investor Relations Manager, you will contribute to investors and analysts’ knowledge about Saab, help shape and communicate the equity story and improve the access for investors and strengthen IR-platforms and tools to enable long-term shareholder value creation.
The IRM role will cater you to work in a creative and high-paced environment with close access to the head of IR and Group management. Besides managing daily IR tasks, you will be part of strategic analytics in close cooperation with the Finance team, which requires the right candidate to share a passion for working as a team.
You will be part of a team responsible for Saab’s external financial reporting i.e. annual and quarterly reports, AGM’s and CMD’s and a key contact within the Saab organisation and towards the financial market. This is a unique opportunity to take your financial career and skills to the next level.
Main responsibilities:
- Management of daily IR tasks such as data and valuation analysis, investor targeting, shareholder requests, consensus monitoring and preparing investor presentations.
- Responsible for production of external and internal briefs, stock reports and Q&A’s.
- Coordinating and planning around earning seasons as well as investor roadshows/events.
- Co-leading role for Saab’s Annual & Sustainability report, CMD’s and AGM’s etc.
- Managing the investor relations website, keep figures, form and content up-to-date.
- Write various financial reports, stock market updates and feed back to the management.
- Monitoring the stock exchange, daily trading, broker reports and industry trends.
- Conducting analysis on sector and various ad hoc tasks will also be part of the duties.
In this position, frequent travel is required to meet with current and potential investors.
Your profile
We are seeking a candidate who is analytical, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and has a sharp eye for form and presentation. A strong understanding of financial reporting processes, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis, is essential. Proficiency with the digital tools that support these processes is also required. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of quality while efficiently managing multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
Additionally, the suitable candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and excels at multitasking. They should possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to confidently engage with diverse audiences, from investors to senior management, and effectively present financial insights in a clear and compelling way. Required skills:
- BSc or MSc in Business/Finance/Economics or Engineering
- Previous experience from IR, finance, IBD or management consulting
- Excellent Swedish and English skills, verbal and written
- Strong analytical and financial skills, understanding economic theory
- Strong financial knowledge and shareholder valuations
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel
- Interest in the financial markets and the Aerospace & Defence industry
