Description:
About the role
Our Investor Relations team manage the communication of company strategy and performance with investors and city analysts through formal quarterly financial announcements and annual reporting (financial, non-financial and sustainability); as well as year-round interactions ranging from one-on-one meetings to conferences and roadshows. We work closely with our leadership team and specialist colleagues to tell the Tesco story to both current and prospective investors. To do this, we harness the knowledge and expertise of our teams across the business to gain a clear view of Tesco performance and business priorities. We also maintain an in depth understanding of how the external world views Tesco, which enables us to feed external perspectives back into the business.
This role offers the opportunity to gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Tesco Group with exposure to senior colleagues across the business. It involves both independent objectives as well as delivering work as part of a broader team.
This is a 9 month fixed term contract covering a lifestyle break.
At Tesco, we believe in the power of spending more time together, face to face, than apart. So, during your working week, you can expect to spend 60% of your time in one of our office locations or local sites and the rest remotely. We also recognise that life looks a little different for each of us. Some people are at the start of their careers, some want the freedom to do the things they love. Others are going through life-changing moments like becoming a carer, nearing retirement, adapting to parenthood, or something else. That’s why at Tesco, we always welcome a conversation about flexible working. So, talk to us throughout your application about how we can support.
