Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to join a high calibre team and actively engage and drive Turner & Townsend operational assurance and compliance. Reporting to a UK Director of Operational Assurance, you will be a hands-on professional that will support a number of key controls within our UK SOX Assurance Programme. You will actively engage with a wide range of internal stakeholders throughout our business and across a wide breadth of seniority. You will work independently but have support from the wider team and team leader.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Operational controls experience preferred
  • Strong written and inter-personal skills
  • Excel proficiency

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Solid understanding of SOX and internal control concepts (e.g., COSO)
  • Understanding of financial billing guidelines & IFRS15
  • Strong focus on SOX and internal controls gained at an in-house team or an accountancy firm, General Controls testing experience preferred
  • D365 ERP experience
  • Working towards membership of a professional organisation such as AAT
  • Track record of working in an operational control and/or a compliance team

Responsibilities:

  • Performing data analysis to produce operational samples
  • Undertaking Invoice reviews for compliance
  • Downloading invoice and contracts information
  • Understanding our individual contract requirements
  • Maintain and update the review trackers
  • Working with project teams to obtain additional evidence as necessary.
  • Escalation of areas needing attention
  • Attend and update in weekly meetings
