As an iOS Engineer at Vuo AI, you will be responsible for designing and developing features that bring our FixFood application to life on iOS devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement features that enhance user experiences and ensure smooth interactions with our AI-driven, gamified cooking platform. Your role will focus on building and optimizing user interfaces, managing performance, and ensuring that all iOS components work seamlessly together. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Oulu.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A solid foundation in computer science principles, preferably with a focus on mobile app development.
• Proven Experience in Software Development: At least 3-5 years of experience in building and maintaining iOS applications.
• Strong Knowledge of iOS SDK: Including proficiency in Swift/Objective-C, Xcode, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs: Experience connecting iOS applications to backend services using RESTful APIs.
• Performance and Memory Tuning: Proficiency in performance and memory optimization using tools like Instruments and Xcode.
• Experience with Push Notifications and Cloud Messaging: Familiarity with integrating push notifications and cloud messaging into iOS apps.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex problems, particularly related to performance, scalability, and usability.
• Proficiency in version control systems: especifically Git, including experience with branching, merging, pull requests, and resolving conflicts in a collaborative development environment.

• Design and Build iOS Applications: Design, build, and maintain iOS applications that deliver a high-quality user experience across all iOS devices.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize Performance and Quality: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by addressing bottlenecks and implementing best practices.
• Code Quality and Structure: Help maintain code quality, structure, and automatization to ensure scalable and maintainable development.
• Implementing AI-Driven Features: Integrating AI and machine learning models into the mobile application.
