YOUR DAY TO DAY

Provides support and collaborates with a multitude of cross-functional teams to provide and improve IoT services in Vodafone’s portfolio for Automotive customers. Oversees the transition of the solutions offered from the development environment to the operational environment through a validation, testing and implementation process by offering direct support for all issues encountered. Operates and ensures a high availability of services, regularly develops automation scripts and constantly seeks to optimize existing working methods. Keeps a good and constant relationship with customer stakeholders and representatives, by directly being involved in the technical resolution of the ongoing issues that are disturbing the provided services.

WITH THESE SKILLS YOU ARE A GREAT CANDIDATE

• Good understanding of ITIL principles
• Good operational knowledge, able to debug and troubleshoot application issues on Linux servers
• Good understanding of Vodafone IoT GDSP platform and services
• Basic knowledge of Unix scripting
• Basic understanding of: APIs (SOAP and REST), Microservices
• Basic knowledge of Oracle Database SQL
• Basic knowledge / understanding of IP Networking and Telecom architecture and Protocols (SMPP, RADIUS/DIAMETER, SS7 signalling)
• Experience in a multinational environment (minimum 1 year)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (both written and spoken)
