Responsibilities:
Your mission as an IoT Infrastructure Professional, you’ll enhance global connectivity for Atlas Copco Group’s vacuum pumps (e.g., Edwards, Leybold, Atlas Copco). You’ll identify new value opportunities, select appropriate hardware, integrate into our GENIUS Cloud, and ensure global maintenance. You’ll also contribute to our connectivity strategy by analyzing IoT trends and exploring future developments. Additionally, you’ll support connectivity services and apply your IoT expertise to resolve connectivity issues.
As IoT Infrastructure Professional, you will report into the Remote Connectivity Lead
- You will contribute to our IoT strategy, by evaluating new technology trends and assessing strategic options
- You will identify how to add value by connectivity for new pump models to integrate and derive requirements for sensors and the connectivity performance
- You will guide projects for integrating new vacuum pump models into our portfolio of connectable pumps by working with the New Product Integration (NPI) engineering teams of our Industrial and Scientific equipment divisions, working in our product companies across the globe
- You will ensure our new connectivity solutions are market ready, by providing professional instructions for internal Field Service Engineers and for customers
- You will manage the quality and cost of our global connectivity services
- You will employ your knowledge of the IoT technology stack to identify causes of connectivity problems and provide solutions
- You will help mature our internal engineering processes and ensure we can scale these globally across our Product Companies
