We are looking for a IoT Solutions Engineer to strengthen our technical team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will work with the leading telematics solutions in the world and master your B2B sales skills.
Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

In this role, you will:
- Guide employees and customers on how to use Teltonika Telematics devices and solutions (consult, provide training)
- Solve technical issues and ensure prevention
- Prepare technical documentation and technical tasks
- Participate in direct communication with clients to answer technical questions through conference calls and visits
- Perform quality assurance tasks before providing the solution to a customer
- Assist with R&D, Production, QA, Supply management
- Prepare and conduct training for internal and external customers according to the relevant product
- Test and ensure the operation of the solutions in Indonesia region
What we expect of you:
- Good English language skills (both spoken and written), as it will be your primary working language.
- Technical education in Telecommunication/Electronics/Computer engineering
- Basic knowledge of networks technologies: GPRS, GNSS, Bluetooth technology fundamentals and secure Cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure)
- Basic knowledge of serial bus technologies: 1-Wire, RS-232/RS-485, Modbus, CAN-BUS, Tachograph)
- Fluent English both written and spoken skills (C1 level)
- Constructive mindset and ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems (including log parsing)
- Experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure accurate documentation of processes and procedures
- Proficiency in using software applications: Microsoft Office 365, Ticketing system, Jira, wiki database
- Previous experience in technical support and/or Telematics solutions (email support, direct/live support) will be considered an advantage
- Perfect time management skills (speed and quality is important for us)
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team environment, contributing ideas, sharing knowledge, and supporting colleagues
