Description:
The Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust’s Individual Placement & Support (IPS) team Positive Assets are looking for experienced Employment Specialists to join our expanding team. Would you like to support mental health team service users to achieve recovery through paid work?
Role details-
- Delivery of IPS model of employment support
- Team supports service users of Community Mental Health Teams in Hull and East Riding
To manage a caseload of up to 20 service users at any one time who are receiving specialist mental health support and wish to find paid work.
The post holder will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring that high quality, individualised care is delivered that promotes recovery and well-being and maximises independence.
To prepare individuals for paid work by supporting service users to identify their skills, aspirations and goals through vocational profiling and action planning.
Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of Service Users.
Focus on rapid job search with the service user, sourcing job opportunities for service users through tailored job search and engaging local employers in order to negotiate job opportunities that meet each individual’s strengths, needs, abilities and preferences.
