EXPERIENCE
- 5 years’ or more experience in a technology focused role
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, such as networking, hosting and cloud architectures
- Ideally a good understanding of cyber security concepts and risks/threats to Thales from cyber attackers.
- A willingness to work in a global environment
- English speaking essential, French speaking an advantage
Responsibilities:
To be the Global Service Owner for the activities related to the cyber security operations centres worldwide. Focusing on our civil markets, but operating in the global Thales environment, with a scope covering all 68 countries and all GBUs, be the leader and champion for engagement and implementation of security monitoring solutions across the Thales world.
Responsibilities include:
- Be the owner and design authority supporting the internally focused security operations technology stack worldwide, ensuring we meet the service expectations and evolve to align to the business strategy
- Create technology roadmaps for enabling security operations across global service, including log management and cloud based services
- Deliver the security operations service to our internal CISOs, ensuring SLAs are met and service is continually improved
- Understand and build connectivity with Azure, AWS and GPC to help other tribes integrate operational security services into their products
- Deploy myriad of technology solutions, including log management, Cloud monitoring, EDR and vulnerability scanning. Specific experience of these technologies is not required, but an enthusiasm to learn is.
- Coaching the rest of the squad, mainly consisting of engineers to acquire and evolve skillsets and expertise
- Act as the point of contact for all matters in relation to internal log monitoring and SOC/SIEM technology
- Ensure the squad is operating with an agile mindset, including setting OKR and running ceremonies. Participate in appropriate global governance forums
- Maintain the squad backlog, gathering requirements, creating user stories and prioritising demands
