What you’ll do:
- Manage assigned IS&T-focused categories, increasing international coverage and driving efficiency.
- Develop and lead category management sourcing strategies across the UK & Ireland.
- Collaborate with global buying teams to align and implement global category strategies.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Supply Management in the UK.
- Ensure compliance to company policies, maintaining a focus on risk mitigation.
- Manage a pipeline of projects and initiatives based on business need and opportunity analysis.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the Global Supply Management.
What you bring:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Buying/ Category Management.
- Experience in IT procurement would be particularly relevant.
- Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural and matrix environment.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation and commercial performance improvement.
- Graduate calibre, working towards CIPS/ISM or equivalent qualification.
- Strong presentation skills, both verbally and written, with excellent communication abilities.
- Financial acumen, results-oriented, with a focus on revenue generation and savings.
- Flexibility for international travel where required; fluency in English, French/Spanish a plus.
